Zarafa Camp

Renewing the spirit of all visitors

Zarafa Camp sits on an island in the floodplains of southern shores of the pristine Zibalianja Lagoon, which is the source of the Savute Channel. Positioned in the extreme eastern side of the Selinda Reserve, its location is in prime wildlife territory. The camp embodies authenticity, luxury and simplicity and has been thoughtfully planned to be as environmentally sensitive as possible.

Zarafa has four spacious marquis style tents, plus Zarafa Dhow Suites which is a 2 bedroom private suite complete with your own staff. All accommodation evokes an atmosphere of an original 1920s safari and no detail is spared.

Guests can while away the hours in the comfortable sitting room and savour mouth-watering meals in the elegant dining area or in the dappled shade on the deck. Adventures include twice-daily game drives (including night drives) in open 4×4 safari vehicles, short guided walks and the opportunity to get up close to wildlife in the camp’s sunken hide, which is situated at the water’s edge

The Camp is synonymous with exclusivity and perfection.
