Phinda Private Game Reserve

Phinda Private Game Reserve is located in the lush KwaZulu-Natal region of South Africa and is made up of 23,000 hectares of prime conservation land. Besides the Big Five and other wildlife diversity, Phinda also boasts over 380 bird species.

Phinda’s most distinctive and unusual feature is its seven distinct ecosystems. From one of the last remaining sand forest floors to its rocky mountain and evergreen forests, it’s no wonder that it’s often referred to as the ‘Seven Worlds of Wonder’.

Within easy reach of Phinda is the Greater St Lucia Wetland Park, a designated World Heritage Site, as well as the nearby coastline of Sodwana Bay which offers incredible marine diversity, turtle watching, scuba diving and fishing.
